Our new office building was officially opened on 3rd August, 2016. This is a milestone representing the long term commitment and confidence in abalone farming and in the growth that we are planning over the next two years. SOM is expecting to grow the farm from a 75-ton to a 110-ton farm with the resulting growth in both direct and indirect jobs and in our capacity to serve our loyal customers.
The new building floorplan includes:
(i) a fully-equipped meeting room;
(ii) a quarantine area for guest entry;
(iii) a large lunch room for staff to relax and re-energise;
(iv) offices for all current and future management personnel;
(v) a large storage/loading area and plenty of space for car parks.
We believe that this new building speaks to the professionalism that we have always tried to follow and should hold us in good stead for many years to come.
